Level 62 Hellfire Peninsula
I am in a quandary. My first druid was level 65 when I came here. I am currently 64 with the zone completed. So I am not even as high as I was when I came here before. That would explain why some mobs & bosses were harder than I remember, although not extremely difficult. This means that what I did before wont necessarily have the same outcome now. In reviewing my notes from my first trip, some of the things I did were pretty risky, such as the rock guys, naga bosses in Zangarmarsh, and bird people in Blade's Edge. This dilemma will weigh heavily on my mind for a long time to come, and could determine the choices I make now. For now, I think I will come back later for the rock guys.
I didn't do the exorcist quest as I was warned a long time ago not to do it. I have no experience on this quest, so if anyone has experience with it, I would sure be interested in hearing about it.

Level 64 Zangarmarsh
I did the Leader bosses. The first one was pretty tough. Trying to clear his 2 guards proved to be hazardous as the water elemental pat showed up. I was doing fine just fighting him, but he yelled for help & I got the 2 naga guard & 2 slaves. I figured shadowmeld was a wiser choice. The boss took a long time to down, so it made me very worried to fight the mage naga leader. But I decided I wasn't going to be a coward. If I couldn't down her, it wasn't worth it seeing as how most come here at 62 like I am now & not 65 like my first druid. Not only does she summon an add, but she puts nasties on the ground that really quickly decreased my hp.
So now that I know how weak I am in comparison, things scare me a little more. The last control was rather intimidating as memories came back. I once watched a toon die to it as all the multiple pats showed up at the same time. I decided to clear & hope for the best. Had an incident of fighting 2 when a mob spawned on top of me while fighting another. Although most mobs I'm fighting are yellow, I can handle 2 if necessary.
Finally dinged 65, and sad to say only 15 more quests in this zone, 37/52. Sigh, Terokkar is going to be a terror.

Level 65 Terokkar
Been hopping all over trying to do all the less risky quests first. Had about 5 bars until 67, so I finally did the rock giants in HFP at level 66. It went well. Also finished up children's week in SW. With only a bar until 67, Shatt's children's week should get me there, and then I will go back & do all the other quests I have been avoiding.
Finished the 2 catacomb quests. It's a little intimidating working on yellow quests. Think I lost confidence because my first druid was 2 to 3 levels higher than I am now, which is 67 and 13 bars. I didn't note the number of quests I did here, but monk shows 54/63 and I am currently 52/63. Still have a couple to turn in, so I will at least get 54/63. Debating on doing the Private Weeks quests. (Decided against doing)
The escort quest at Firewing was a breeze. 3 others were there doing the quests while I was on escort & they pretty much kept the area cleared. Even when I had to set off the bomb, all the locks near it were dead.
I did Torgos at the same time I had to kill the mobs there for the other quest. I really needed the xp. Torgos was easy, had unexpected help. I was clearing the area to summon him down. They were mobs for the other quest, so 2 birds with one stone. After it was cleared, I summoned & attacked. Next thing I know, someone else is there hitting too. Oh well, I do know it is doable on druid at this level so long as the area is cleared.
Ended zone at 67-15/20
Quests: 1046/3000 Terokkar: 55/63 Kills: 4,445

Level 67 Nagrand
Was a little intimidated coming here since the first time through I was 70 or 71. Way higher than I normally am. Was also coming off druid who was farming mobs in Ice Crown, and at 87, a druid is very op for that zone. Most of the mobs I kill continue to be yellow, hmmmm, yuck. But in the end, I didn't have any issues.
The elekk caravan guys that give a drop for a quest I wasn't sure about. There are 3 of them, and they are my level. Not too comforting to an imc. Then I had a brain storm. I rooted one using entangling roots. Then I pounced on one. Then I threw up nature's grasp which will root another one if he strikes me. Woot, 2 cc'd. Well, mostly, nature's grasp didn't last long, and he was soon out of it. But it bought me time. I then killed the one, and being the lazy girl that I am, I shadowmeld. rofl
I did the escort quest. Someone was clearing the area, I felt it was the perfect opportunity to do it. Sigh, it was a flagged horde clearing the area. As soon as my escort saw him, he proceed to attack. Wow, didn't expect that. The horde guy was very gracious, at least he tried to be. He didn't attack back, but instead tried to get out of agro. Didn't work. He was forced to kill my escort. The escort spawned rather quickly, but unfortunately so did all the other mobs & the area was no longer cleared. At the end of it, 3 mobs spawn. I was stealthed. Turned out not to be a good idea. The escort was very near death by the time I got these mobs off him.
Finished the zone, which included dirty Larry quest line, what book quest line, and camp forge quest line at 69-6/20. I also started the one daily getting crates in BT. I went to dal to see about the children's week quest, but I'm too low to pick it up. Hmmm, let's see. Grizzly Maw, Dragonblight. The one that would seem very risky for a low level toon is the one to take the orphan near Moaki Harbor. And that's just the first 3. Not sure where else the quest line leads. Not sure what level I have to be to get the quest. I'm assuming level 70.
Off to Blade's Edge at 69-6/20
Quests: 1116/3000 Nagrand: 64/75 Kills: 4,762

Level 69 Blade's Edge
Most quests & mobs remained yellow. Decided against doing the more dangerous quests such as the bird people & Blackwing Coven (think that's what its called). At 70, I went to the island and did all the dailies. Mobs hit pretty hard, but nothing I couldn't heal through. I also did the 3 dailies at HFP and the 3 from Shatt. Boy, those mana worms sure hit hard. My agro range wasn't so good there, & I ended up aggroing another. After that, I decided it was safer to pull the mobs to me rather than pounce.
I was able to pick up the Children's Week daily in Dal, & complete them without issues.
I did 2 sets of dailies, one yesterday & one today.
Off to Netherstorm at 70 and 19 1/2 bars.
Quests: 1185/3000 Blade's Edge: 53/86 Kills: 5466

Level 70 Netherstorm Just dinged 72. Had a few close calls. Decided to try the pup daily in Dragonblight. Wasn't sure how things would go killing a level 72 mob, and was hoping not to find out. Seeing as a druid can loot in flight form & not be dismounted, I figured I'd give it a shot. Was tricky. Got beat. Had to fly off & heal at times. But, woot, druid ftw. I did it & I'm feeling good I'm off to do that blimp daily in hf. I think its available at level 70. I fell off of it once, so its not without risks. Luckily I fell over water, but shudder to think what would have happened had I landed on the pirate ship. I really don't want to go to Northrend until at least 73. Depending on how farm Netherstorm & SMV get me, might have to take a break for a couple of days just doing dailies. That would give me a chance to get priest finished with Azeroth. Netherstorm: 65/120 Ok, had a near-death experience. It was at the last quest hub near Manaforge Ultris. Low hp icon flashing. Wasn't something I couldn't do, just an add spawned while I was fighting boss. Shadowmeld worked on add, but not boss, so the add came back. I won, but barely. Next quest would have me drink a flask thing. I've done it before, and it was ok, I didn't get flagged. But I guess I wont risk it now. I'm done with Netherstorm. I do have a few level 70 quests that I can do yet, killing the ogres near shatt & the elite quests from the npc on top of the tower in Circle of Blood in Blade's Edge. Quests: 1282/3000 Netherstorm: 92/120 Kills: 6,000 Ended up doing 4 level 70 quests that gave 19k xp each which is on par with with BT quests. Currently, I am 72-15/20. Dailies tomorrow will get me to 73, and I will then need to decide to go to SMV or head over to BT. I don't do much in SMV, and what I do is fairly safe, but I'm inclined to go to Northrend.

Level 73 Borean Tundra & Howling Fjord
Did dailies until level 73-18/20. Not much really. Took a few days. Clam Master almost did me in. He wasn't there when I got there, so I decided to start clearing the sharks. As soon as I started killing one, Clam Master spawned & proceeded to beat me. Then a shark showed up. Then another. Had 3 sharks & Clam Master on me. Shadowmeld saved me. As soon as I came out, the 3 sharks were gone, but Clam Master spotted me right away. So I swam a ways out hoping to avoid the sharks. It worked. Was a close call. Level 74-15/20.
Headed off to Howling Fjord to open up daily at level 75. Didn't have any issues with the entire quest line, including the pirate & bear in the cave. Dirty Harry did give me a scare. After I knocked him silly & collected the debt, I vendored with him. Oh yuck, he de-spawned while I was vendoring. That could have had dire consequences of drinking a pot or equipping gear. I updated armory just to make sure I didn't do anything wrong.
Since I haven't had any rest xp, I suspect I will be doing more in BT & HF then I did the first time through. But that's ok, I'd rather continue on then be forced into a break.
I completed most of BT with the exceptions of a few quests I don't do. That got me level 78. I then headed back to HF to get some more bars in. I didn't want to do the quest line at Westguard Keep as the mobs weren't giving xp. Ok, so that perhaps made it more difficult to find quests. Skorn & Gjaerbron quest lines weren't available. I was able to find enough quests to get me to 78-16/20, so now I'm headed off to Dragonblight.

Level 78 Dragonblight
No issues with Dragonblight. I did lose out on a quest taking me to Dal though. There's 2 of them, but it appears only one is available in BT at 68, so by turning that one in before I was high enough to get the other one, the second one never appeared.
I started argent dailies at level 80. Got to level 80-1/2
Quests: 1616/3000 Dragonblight: 99/15 Kills: 7843

Level 80 Grizzly Hills & Zul'Drak
Grizzly Hills was uneventful. Someone had dropped a bling, so I thought what the heck. Not sure why as I don't need any gold. I have 10k & probably will not buy level 80 flying. But it gave me an anvil, which cant be vendored. A warrior was standing next to me, so I opened trade & gave it to him. He didn't want to accept a free gift & put in copper bars & such. I told him to plz remove. Finally all that was left was some blasting powder worth some copper & some stone worth some silver. sigh, just to get this over with, I accepted his gift. Would have been so much easier to just detroy the darn thing. But that is hard for me to do as I hate waste.
I did do the quest line that has the drakuru elixir that will flag us. I didn't have to drink it, not that I would have anyway, but all the npc's were up, so there was no reason to drink it. A few of them I went back later to see if they were still up. They were always up. I chose to do the quest line as I had done the requirements for the quests, but I just needed the npc to turn in. I look at it as fixing a glitch.
Speaking of glitches, Escape from Silverbrook always makes my heart go pitter patter even though I glitch it. I dismount & fly above the npc, & then just before he gets to town, I mount back up on him. A few times on my hunters I've had to fd as all these worgens came to town & were hungry for my blood.
Amazingly, I found a rare. Not sure what's it called. It looked like a shadowfiend up near the slime. Think it spawned almost on top of me. I was getting ready to pull a mob when I saw it next to that mob. Never good to fight a rare and a regular mob. The rare was easy to take down. I haven't seen a rare in Northrend since crz I think. There are 2 rares in Northrend that cannot be killed by an ironman. I've tried. The mammoth in Dragonblight is one that cant be killed. The other is near Ebon Watch in Zul'Drak. The rare was up by the giant patting elite, Thrym. Sorry, but I cant remember his name. I think it has more than one spawn point.
Must be getting tired. Made a few dumb mistakes. Usually when I kill Darmuk for Zero Tolerance, it only takes Servant. This time it took 2. It was very scary watching my servants hp go down faster than Darmuk. I quickly mc'd another one, but not until Darmuk had gotten a few whacks on me. The next quest was Fuel for the Fire. One mob didn't get blown up, so I shadowmeld to get rid of him. Big mistake. The next abomination I controlled got killed before I could blow up the Drakkari mobs. Next thing I know about 10 of them are coming straight for me and no shadowmeld available. I ran screaming like a little girl. Happy to say I lived.
Quests: 1750/3000 Grizzly Hills: 85/85 Zul'Drak: 25/100 (so far) Kills: 8219 Level 81-16/20

Level 82-1/2 Sholazar
Passed on Freya, /cry. Found a chest in the cave omw to A hero's Burdon, woot. It gave 27k xp. Wow, of all the times I have been through Sholazar, I have never combined the quest from the oracles taking me to Mistwalker Village with Freya's quest until today. Just never sunk in that I was killing the same mobs. Zone was very easy. Only got 1/2 level from it. I can now do the 3 dailies in Sholazar as well as the daily in Uldum and a few at Argent. Dinged 83, and omw to Storm Peaks.

Level 83 Storm Peaks Woot, just looted a chest on the boat doing the quest, "Ornolf the Scarred". Got 23k xp for it. That one was close as there were 2 other toons on the boat. I rooted the mob standing next to the chest, but he saw me, and I cant loot a chest in combat. So I shadowmelded, and then looted. 2 chests within 30 minutes. Not bad Wow, I'm on a roll. Just found a chest sitting next to Maloric doing the quest, "There's Something About the Squire", which is a quest in the line to finish opening up the argent dailies. Also gave 23k xp. Anxiety is rising as I come closer to the drake to drake quest. I already know that I will be doing it, but I cant help but fear this may well be the 3rd demise to this quest. Druid has a good chance of surviving the mishaps to this quest, yet the risk of death is still high. If I don't do it, I will always feel cheated. And already I feel my myself wavering, my confidence waning. Shaking & heart racing, I am relieved to say the deed is done & I survived. I used the technique that my tester pally had no choice but to use. That is, dismounting after each kill. That way I am near the top, and I can stay that way. And it allows me to pick my target more carefully, making sure he is actually within reach & will stay that way, & easily seeing that there is actually a rider on the drake I am about to harpoon. Still didn't make this quest easier on me though. Without it, an estimated 1/2 of Storm Peaks cant be done. Almost a necessary evil, assuming one has a way to prevent a death from fall damage.

Level 83-84 Ice Crown
Completed Ice Crown without incidence. I did find another rare up at Fleshwerks. The zone was packed, then boom, everyone was gone, then the rare spawned. Wasn't sure if I could down him, but his hp was very close to the mobs I was killing. I think I got about 22k xp which probably really isn't worth the risk at this point unless I am familiar with the rare. I got very close to 85. Not sure how. I was only a few bars away.
Since I finished Ice Crown, I've been on the long, arduous journey of getting to 86 by doing way too many dailies & grinding. Without grinding, I get about 2 and 1/2 bars of xp. I try to get at least 3 bars, but it's so tiring.

Level 86 Hyjal
Started Hyjal exactly at 86, but decided to pace myself so that I don't start Vashjir until 87. Mobs take twice as long to kill but only give 1/4 xp compared with Ice Crown.
Finished up what I could do. Try as I might, I couldn't get credit for "The Gatekeeper". Killed him 6 times. I did all the suggestions on wowhead, that is striking first before blowing the horn & turning in the other 2 quests, but to no avail. Then a horde came by & cleared, so I decided to give one more try. To my knowledge, the horde didn't help. But I did do one thing differently. I got in the killing blow, which wasn't easy since the spawning wolf hits so hard. Boom, quest complete.
In reviewing my notes from the last time I was here, it doesn't seem Magma & Broodmother are possible, so I am done. Have 3 1/2 bars until 87. Dailies might get me 2 bars today. Can't imagine grinding for 1-1/2 bars today. But in pacing myself, I probably will give druid a rest for a few days, only doing dailies. Sad to say not one piece of new gear dropped in all of Hyjal. Hoping Vashjir is more kind.
Quests: 2239/3000 Hyjal: 115/115 Kills: 13,112

Level 87 Vashjir (soon) I am very undecided as to what course to take with druid. I expect to only get about 10 bars or so from Vashjir. Deepholm was very hard on druid at 87, so I am debating daily/grinding to 88 after Vashjir is completed before going there. In reviewing the Roads to 85-90, it seems Ironcow didn't go there until 89 and was still 89 when he went to Uldum. I'm going to do all the Ice Crown & Storm Peaks dailies to see how many mobs I kill and how much xp I get. For the most part, I will only do the dailies that have kills for the xp grind with the exception of a few fast ones. Kills: 13,429 Well, an estimated 2 hours to do these dailies from Ice Crown & Storm Peaks. I had 172 kills and earned 546k xp. Sigh, only about 3/4 bar of xp. So not sure the best and fastest way to get to 88. 6/5/14 Spent the last hour farming gilblin collectors for a drop that starts a quest. Let's see. The mobs are giving 256 xp to get a quest that will give 22k xp. That would have been 18 mobs in Ice Crown. I would have been so much better off spending the last hour in Ice Crown

Nooo, it can't be!!!! My weapon is gone, cry, cry, cry. I must have vendored it by mistake. That would explain why the mobs in Vashjir were taking 3 rounds of combo points whereas Hyjal mobs were taking only 2 rounds. I went to item restore to no avail. I guess not many would want to restore a white/gray weapon. Sad, sad, sad. What to do? The weapon I had was a mace from Cata. It gave 45 more damage than the staff from Wotlk. At this point, the only thing I can do is buy the staff in dal, then go back doing the dailies in Ice Crown in hopes that the staff drops soon. I just cant imagine farming for the mace in cata considering how long it takes to kill mobs and how low the xp is.
