World of Shadows and the following quests, part of the Skettis quests in Terokkar Forest, Outlands, requires using an Elixir of Shadows. Quest cannot be completed without the elixir.

The Deepholm intro quest can still glitch out and disconnect, dropping you from a height. Be wary and make sure you have a goblin glider kit just in case.

Went to check how the stables dailies compare now the patch is live. Lol it did not go well. Riplash is level 101 for my level 100 tin now. Don't see myself gaining a lot of XP through those dailies anymore.

Patch 7.5.3 is live. I'm pleased to see treasures scale as well -yesterday Spires treasures were giving about 3k XP per treasure, while Gorgorond was only giving about 1k. Today I find that Gorgorond gives about 3k as well - 7500xp with the rested bonus. (It's giving a LOT more for my tin, who's level 100.) Meanwhile, got quite a long way to go re: Legion flying, so I'll slowly farm treasures when I've built up rested XP in between working on flying, and then resume speeding on ahead once I have flying.

Level 101.
Got there with exploration, treasures (mostly Spires of Arak and Nagrand), cashing in the first aid quest in Athari Highlands, and a little bit of questing including a Lumber Mill quest involving pulling a log off a guy for quite a lot of XP. And dailies, of course. Did the seal love daily for what'll no doubt be the last time. Never been able to do the Horde equivalent of the Winterspring Cubs daily, so won't be missing that.
Now I gotta finish getting flying in Legion, plus my holidays are over from tomorrow. So that last 9 levels are gonna probably take a long time. At least I'll be able to build up rested XP, I hate collecting treasures without it.
I have left both my iron and my tin naked, of course. Just in case.
(The fact that I am, yet again, just 9 levels away from max level is NOT lost on me.)

Sadly the flying thing only applies to things like cold weather flying and the four winds flying thing. From Wowhead: and So I definitely will still need to work on Legion flying.

Xayablue lvl 76 draenai hunter (alive) Wyrmrest Accord Xayamonk lvl 110 tinman draenai monk Wyrmrest Accord Xayapaci lvl 36 pacifist gnome rogue (alive) Wyrmrest Accord Xayahorde lvl 21 bloodelf rogue (alive) Wyrmrest Accord
Whaaat? That would be awesome, but I didn't read anything like it in the patch notes.

I've come close to dying a few times since arriving in Draenor, but never as close as I just came now. I was attempting the group quests offered by Beastmaster Tagh. The first one: Wanted: Kil'uun, was extremely difficult, but after successfully taking the bird down with my (level 99) tin/scout three times, I felt ready - and I was. Completed that successfully on my iron. Then I went on to Wanted: Ra'tok the Hammer. I found it so simple on my tin, I just did the quest once. My iron managed to miss healing my pet at the right time, and my pet was dead. I'd already used heart of the phoenix when fighting Kil, so I couldn't use that. I tried to raise my pet the normal way, during which Ra'tok took almost all of my health. Finally, I played dead, and for a horrible moment thought that thing where you try play dead but move so you lose it happened, but the spell was still available. Managed to play dead with barely a scrap of life left.
As I lay there, next to my dead pet, waiting for enough health to restore for me to feel comfortable moving, I reflected on the fact that, while this quest was offering me 6000xp at level 100, far more than most quests I'd been doing, that still would only translate to about 1% on my way to level 101. I reflected that all quests are still going excruciatingly slow, and I've been coming dangerously close to dying far more often than I would like.
I'm planning on taking a break after the patch to get Legion flying. Decided it's time to get that exploration XP now. Questing, right now, just isn't worth it.

Level 100.
I stayed in Pandaria until level 96 or so. Did Pandaren dailies until level 97. Took the back way into Draenor and set up my garrison. At level 2, I've chosen the buildings: Stables (replaced the Barracks) Lumber Mill, Salvage Yard and Storehouse. Also upgraded the mine and herb garden. Did quests (and bonus objectives) in Frostfire Ridge until the XP diminished drastically, went to Spires of Arak to do a round of quests to get the Storehouse to be available, and then headed to Gorgrond, where I quested until I dinged 100.
I don't have Legion flying, so I will have to get that before I can venture into Legion zones. I haven't done much treasure hunting or exploring, figuring both could wait until after the patch. Today, I'll speed quest through as much of Draenor as possible. Really hoping to get a level or two into 100 before the patch.

Level 93. I mostly got there with exploring, dailies, finding treasures, and a few more quests in Dread Wastes.
Right. Dread Wastes has been offering full XP. It's difficult because the risk of mobbing is always there, but it's still better than things will no doubt be after the patch. I also found the Shadow Pan dailies are quite doable and offer a ton of XP. If I had time, I'd slow down, do a few other Pandaren zones - maybe even all of them - but with the ever looming patch, I need to get into a garrison as soon as I possibly can.
It's the final day of the Darkmoon Faire today. I've bought the various items off the Auction House that can be turned in for XP - and have been waiting until the last possible moment before turning them in.
So here's the plan.
A round of treasure hunting this morning. My realm is always empty in the mornings so it's a really good time for it - I've found a ton of stuff so far. A round of dailies Dread wastes Darkmoon Faire
Hopefully this will take me to level 94, because then it's time for the great push into Draenor. Whether I get there the front way or the back way remains to be seen.

Level 92.
I've officially beaten my own record.
Still got quite a ton of exploring/treasure hunting to do. Not sure which zone I should quest in after I'm done: Townlong Steppes? Or should I skip ahead to Dread Wastes?

Can confirm Devoured deaths don't count as real deaths, which is great, because it leads to quests that give a little more XP.

Level 91, the same level I reached before dying last time.
Sped through Firelands and collected the dailies, then I debated which other Cata zones to do. I skipped Vashj'ir. Deepholm is always good, because it's so straightforward and quick to do. I did all of Ulduar, but kinda regret it. That's a zone that adores giving you one quest at a time, half of which are "go talk to this guy" and offer almost no xp, plus a ton of vehicle quests which aren't really dangerous, but are time consuming. The entire zone is just very, very slow. Went on to Twilight Highlands, where I dinged first on my iron and then on my tin. Straight away, I went and did the Thrall and the Stranglethorn Vale quests. Immediate priority after that was to unlock Pandaria dailies. I unlocked the Arberetum dailies first. I wound up following the wrong questline around Serpent's Spine, but that gave me quite a nice chunk of XP so I'm not complaining. My tin died several times testing out The Thunder Below, and I've read about Survival Ring: Blades glitching out, so I skipped on both of them. My tin also died during the Halfhill dailies as I wanted to test to see if something would kill me - it did - but knowing to stay away from it was enough, and I managed to complete them all on my Iron.
Still haven't explored Pandaria yet. Thinking I might go back and speed through the rest of Twilight Highlands, follow that with exploration, and then see how things are. I am still keeping up with Cata dailies.

I mean, OK, but if we had known about how the flagging thing worked (you need to turn the quest in before logging out if you don't want to get flagged) then I doubt there would have been as many red flag reversals to begin with. I've specifically asked about how the elixer thing works before and yet this is news to me.

Your challenger is Libertie, right? Cause that character's green flagged, so hopefully it means the matter's been resolved.
