What I said is correct.... Stealth does NOT give 5% faster movement. That comes from the night elf racial passive Elusiveness so only night elf rogues get that benefit to be more precise.

Sorry Brittle. You're absolutely rigth. My son alvays plays NE rogues, and I made the mistake to assume that the speed bonus was rogue-related, not NE-related. Finally got all ten classes (DK excluded) of naked ironman up to level 20.
Most classes took around 24 hours of /played time, give or take an hour or two, to make level 20.
The melee classes (Warrior, Rogue, petless Hunter) all took longer, around 36 hours, since without a weapon they are very limited and basically only have auto attack for damage.
The caster classes do about 50% more damage, at range, and have additional abilities, which make them easier than the melee classes.
Druid appears to be the strongest as cat form seems to just chew mobs up and spit them out. Made level 20 in under 14 hours, although part of that may be my familiarity with leveling since that was class number 9 to reach 20.
Monk seems to be the next in power. Melee abilities look to do more damage than casters and made level 20 in 19 hours.
Now that everyone has made 20, my free play time is over and I need to start paying again to renew my subscription.
Plan to take a break for a while. When I return plan to focus on my petless Hunter, and maybe use the Druid as something of a scout.

So of course I could not actually take a break, so I decided to try my hand as a Naked Pacifist.
From looking at the list of other characters, Night Elf looks to be the most popular choice for race (Shadowmeld is nice), and class seems to be mostly Druid or Rogue (for Stealth).
I decided on a Night Elf Rogue since Stealth speed for Druid is 70%, whereas Rogue is 100%. Add in the Night Elf racial bonuses and it's either 77% or 107%. I'll go with 107% movement speed. Even unstealthed, I run at 102%, so can outdistance mobs chasing me.
Got training in Herbalism and Mining (sold my clothing for some coppers), and started exploring the four different starting zones and doing what quests I could.
Things were going fine until I checked my stats and noticed I had a kill to my credit. Huh?! I had not attacked anything, and certainly didn't kill anything, so thought about where that might have come from.
Only thing I could figure is that it was one of two quests I did in Teldrassil. The one where you escort 'Mist'. I think Mist might have killed something without my help (probably not). Or, more likely, 'The Relics of Wakening' where you get a companion elf that attacks things. I think she is the reason I failed my first pacifist attempt. My stats showed 1 Kill, although I had 4 killing blows. Fail at 13.
Attempt number two. Again, no problems. Caught a boat in Stormwind to return to my homeland when there must have been a major storm or something as the ship was stranded in the middle of the ocean with no land in sight! Thought there must be some lag issues so I figured I'd just wait and return later to see if things had righted themselves.
Upon my return, I was floating in deep water and my fatigue bar was half depleted. Huh?! Since I couldn't see any land on the horizon in any direction I didn't even know which direction to swim in, and probably didn't have time to get to safety anyways. Death. My Wisp form found my floating corpse and even though I was already dead I still got a fatigue bar. Wanted to see if I could die as a Wisp, and sure enough you can. Fail at 11.
Attempt number three. Pretty much same as the first two, although I am now avoiding any escort or companion quests, and I'm a little more fearful of the water.
With 107% movement speed while stealthed, Pacifist seems easy. Explore and gather flowers and rocks, with an odd quest here and there.
Seems faster than most of my normal Naked characters, but should get a little slower as the levels get higher so we shall see.
Fepaciiv (Iron-Pacifist-Three, since three consecutive identical letters are not allowed in a name, I count: i, ii, iiv, iv, v, vi, vii, iix, ix, x, ...) is going well at level 10. Still very early, but going a bit faster than the other two, and hopefully I will make 20 this time. Alive at 10.
After a Pacifist, I don't know what else to try, so then I can take a break.

That is because it is 70% of cat movement speed which is 132%. So while it is a little slower to be a cat stealthed, it isn't as big of a difference. Also travel form is 142% if that matters at all. That said, I think sap will be very useful, perhaps even more so than entangling roots and you will get vanish so you'll have two combat escapes.

That said, I think sap will be very useful, perhaps even more so than entangling roots and you will get vanish so you'll have two combat escapes. Hmmm... Hadn't thought about that. Makes the Rogue advantage much less noticeable. Although, NEs have Quickness (2%) and Elusiveness (5%), making 137%. 132 * 0.7 = 92.4 137 * 0.7 = 95.9 So, a 96% stealth speed vs. 107% is much better than 77%. Plus, running away at 132% or 142% is much better than 102%. My last Pacifist (3) died at 11 in a horrific thousand foot plunge from Ironforge Mountain as I was making my way to the Ironforge Airfield for those all important 80 experience points. Did make number 4 but he is just sitting around gaining rested bonus since that last death really took the wind out of my sails. In light of this new information, I may have to think about a change and going with a Druid as a refreshing change. Thanks Miyra!

Well, glad I could help. Another useful thing about druids, is that you can gather herbs and survey for archaeology in cat and travel form. Unfortunately, you break cat/travel to pick up artifacts and mine ores.
However, one thing to consider, if you are having issues at lower levels, is that druid's get stealth and cat form at level 6, while rogues get stealth at level 5. That one level might make a huge difference at low levels. Druids do get rejuvenate at level 4, but that might not be enough.
Another thing I noticed when I was comparing rogues and druids was that rogues get sap at 12 but that requires a melee weapon and if you are going naked...that could be an issue. Sap and entangling roots are both very useful for gathering nodes, losing the ability to use one could really hurt that character. I don't think any of druid's abilities require weapons or gear.

My pacifists have all been NE priests. NE for the reasons stated above, priest for shield and heals. It's only stupidity - my own and Blizzard's - that has killed me off so far

After a Pacifist, I don't know what else to try, so then I can take a break. Of course not! Finally got Pacifist #5 ( Fepacv) up to 20 and thought, 'Maybe I should try Blood Thirsty'. Big difference from my other characters is that since my only major source of experience for Blood Thirsty is from mobs that I kill, I can't hang out in lower level areas killing gray mobs for zero experience to do quests. I need to fight mobs at least close in level to me. Based on my previous experience of playing all classes naked, killing mobs close to my level wouldn't go too well as a melee character (Hunter, Paladin, Rogue, Warrior), although Monk might be feasible. For ranged casters (Mage, Shaman, Warlock) I was thinking Priest (healing, shield, dot), but ultimately decided on ... DruidThe best killer of all the classes in Cat form, plus healing and stealth, makes this what I consider the best option for Blood Thirsty. For race I decided on Troll (my first Horde Iron character) to take advantage of the 20% experience bonus for killing beasts. Going well up to level 6, but I can see this becoming more of a grind than I would like, but we shall see. Once my Blood Thirsty gets to 20, THEN I can take a break.

Taking the plunge and paying for another month to level beyond 20.
Decided to level my Druid, Mage, Warrior, and Hunter(petless).
Druid has great survivability and will serve as my scout for the other, more challenging classes.
For whatever reason, Mage appears to be the class that has made the least progress as an Iron in WoD, so decided to continue with mine.
Warrior is widely regarded as the most difficult class, and if anything is harder I think it would be a petless Hunter, so I have continued with those as well.
Still have plenty of questing to do in the level 10-20 zones so I am starting up in Westfall.
Finished the quests taking me to Sentinel Hill and fed all of the homeless vagrants and preparing to cleanup some gnolls next.
Very easy for all classes so far, but I am level 20 doing level 10 quests. Very familiar with all these quests and expect to make mid-twenties before I face any real problems, but we shall see.

My Four Ironmen finished off Westfall and all made level 21.
Pretty simple, although the Warrior and petless Hunters do have some rather long battles.
Moved on to Loch Modan. Already completed most of the delivery and item gathering type of quests, now for combat. Will probably do the lower level quests and head to a different zone and come back for the level 15+ quests around 23.

Fenakhuni, dead at 21 (less than half a bubble from 22). I can't believe this happened, killed by a mob nine levels below me. Doing a quest in Darkshore, and all I needed to do was loot an item. Aggroed a mob nine levels below me, and not wanting to deal with it, I just ran, and ran ... and ran. ... link Druid died (at level 21) to the exact same thing that months ago killed an earlier petless Hunter (at level 21). Ritual Materials in Darkshore. The main purpose of my Druid was to serve as a scout for my Mage, Warrior, and petless Hunter, so I'm not that disappointed (although rather PedO). Abandoned the quest and did it again to learn more, and want to recon a better escape route, but I REALLY don't want to lose my other characters to this quest, so it seems my scout is serving his purpose.

Completed Ritual Materials in Darkshore on my level 21 Mage with zero problems or difficulties, so not quite sure what the issue was on the previous two occasions.
Feel much better about doing it on my Warrior and petless Hunter, although I do have some trepidation.

After the fall of my Druid scout while ... uh ... scouting, my Four Ironmen are down to the Three Ironmigos.
Alive and well at 22, and exceeding my previous Naked Iron record of 21 achieved by three previous contenders.
Mage, Warrior, and petless Hunter going strong (although less motivated for my Warrior since we do now have one at 61, although I assume not naked).
I have finished off all of my gray quests (except for a couple level 14 quests which are still undoable at 22), and hoping to kick my leveling into high gear (well, maybe medium gear (medium-low?)) as I start doing higher exp green quests.
Finished off Westfall (except for Jango), and probably around halfway through Loch Modan, Darkshore, and Bloodmyst, and just starting Redridge.
Should easily be mid twenties before I get to the next tier of zones with the 20-30 quests.
